I'm glad you asked. VidSync is a way for you to watch videos with friends. To use it, one person must act as the host, and everyone watching will synchronise with them. Hosts will need to provide a direct link to the video they want to watch. If you have the video saved to your computer, the best way would probably be to upload it to something like litterbox and paste in the link from there. Captions can also be added by pasting a link to a caption file (.vtt) in the same way. When you're ready to watch, give your friends the code at the top of your screen and tell them to click 'Sync!' when you play the video. The 'Sync!' button matches the state of the watchers with the host. If the host is paused at 2 minutes in, the watchers will also be. If the host is playing from 5 minutes in, the watchers will be too.
